Wil-gai monitoring station

The Wil-gai monitoring station is located east of Boggabri in the centre of the Namoi region. This station monitors PM2.5 and PM10. Site is representative of ambient air quality conditions at Boggabri and rural residences in the area.

*Note - Data not published during the period 24 December 2016 to 1 January 2017 due to a malfunction of the Wil-Gai monitor. During this period the accuracy of the data was compromised. The cause of the malfunction is unknown.

**Note - The Wil-gai monitoring station suffered from an electrical fault at 18:00hrs on 25 January 2017. This fault remained under active investigation throughout the weeks of 30 January 2017 to 5 February 2017 and 6 February 2017 to 12 February 2017. The fault was identified as associated with Essential Energy infrastructure and was reported to this service provider. The fault was rectified and the monitor was reactivated on the afternoon of 13 February 2017.
