Scheme Coordinator and Network Operator

Return and Earn is the refund container deposit scheme for NSW. On 29 July 2017, the NSW Government announced Exchange for Change as Scheme Coordinator and TOMRA-Cleanaway as Network Operator for Return and Earn.

The Scheme Coordinator is responsible for the financial management of Return and Earn, including auditing and validation, as well as community education.

The Network Operator is responsible for establishing and managing networks of collection points in specific locations across NSW.

The appointments were made following a two-stage competitive tender selection process.

If you are interested in being a collection point operator, find out more then register your interest with the EPA. Your information will then be passed onto the Network Operator, TOMRA-Cleanaway.
