Waste Less, Recycle More supports collaboration for regional organisations of councils (ROCs), council groups and voluntary regional waste groups.

To date grants totalling $7 million have been awarded to support seven ROCs and council groups as they work to develop regional waste strategies, fund regional coordinators and maximise funding opportunities for local communities. These grants will benefit 54 councils that pay the waste levy, representing more than 5.1 million residents.
