The NSW EPA engaged Marsden Jacob Associates to develop a carbon abatement cost curve (CACC) to identify opportunities to reduce carbon emissions in NSW through the use of low carbon recycled materials in construction and manufacturing.
This report presents results of the CACC development. The report is structured as follows:
- Section 1 introduces the background and purpose for the study.
- Section 2 presents and overview of the CACC analysis and a summary of its results.
- Section 3 discusses further details on the individual circular economy opportunities including key assumptions and potential barriers.
