Guidelines on resource recovery Orders and Exemptions

Soils are an invaluable natural resource. They play a pivotal role in maintaining a healthy environment and biodiversity, and are fundamental to the growth and prosperity of the New South Wales economy. The EPA encourages the recovery of resources from waste to be used as a fertiliser and or soil amendment where this is beneficial and poses minimal risk of harm to the environment or human health.
