Draft Environmental Guidelines: Solid waste landfills

These draft guidelines contain guidance on good practices to be adopted when designing, constructing and operating solid waste landfills. They include a comprehensive update and revision of the first edition of these guidelines, published in 1996.

The EPA's Draft Environmental Guidelines: Solid Waste Landfills have been updated to incorporate legislation and policy changes along with emerging landfilling technologies and techniques.
