New flood programs start to assist in Central West
The communities of Eugowra, Cudal and Molong in the NSW Central West will receive help from the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) this week to remove a significant amount of debris that has spread throughout local waterways following the floods in December.

Supermarkets on notice to clean-up soft plastic stockpiles
Australia’s largest supermarkets, Coles and Woolworths have been served by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) with a draft Clean-up Notice to remove more than 5200 tonnes of soft plastic stockpiled at 15 sites across the state.

Aerially applying pesticides
Pilots and remote pilots applying pesticides from a plane, helicopter or remotely piloted aircraft onto any land in NSW, and people or companies employing such pilots, must have specific qualifications, hold EPA licences and meet certain legislative requirements under the Pesticides Act 1999 and Pesticides Regulation 2017.
