NSW local government air quality toolkit: guidance notes and visual guides

These guidance notes and visual guides were developed to support council officers in managing air quality issues.

These 15 guidance notes and 4 visual guides provide information about best-management practices that apply to specific activities or operations to reduce air emissions.

The industrial and commercial guidance notes provide industry specific information about best management practices to prevent or minimise air emissions from industrial and commercial activities. They cover the agricultural sector, construction industry and other commercial premises found in both urban and rural settings.

The land-use planning and climate change impacts guidance notes complement the industrial and commercial guidance notes . They provide general information on the interaction between land-use planning and climate change, including key considerations for councils.
